”Girl with pearl earring” also known as “Girl with turban” or “The dutch Mona Lisa” is one of the master pieces of dutch painter Johannes Vermeer between 1665-1667, and, as its name shows, uses a pearl earring as focal point. The painting is nowadays exhibited at the Mauritshuis museum at The Hague.
